Beer and food pairing
Sunday, June 9th from 19:00 to 20:30
Do you want to discover the infinite possibilities of beer and food pairings? We're proposing a dinner workshop including 7 pairings between 7 beers and 7 different dishes.
This tasting will take place on Sunday, June 9th and will be accompanied by a brewer / beerologist. The exercise is more delicate than with wine, since the pairings must take into account a wider variety of alcohol percentages, bitterness, and infinite types of aromas. And most importantly, a successful pairing highlights and enhances both the dish and the beer.
More than a tasting workshop, you'll discover over the course of this meal some surprising associations between beer and food! Each tasting is composed of 7 galopins (12,5 cl) of 7 different beers with more and less well known styles (sours, gose, IPA, NEIPA, stout, smoked, gueuze…) associated with each time a different dish:
- foie gras
- lacto-fermented coleslaw
- a tart
- two amuse-bouches (potato and tapioca cubes)
- a cheese
- a dessert
Sunday June 8th from 7pm to 8:30pm
Reservation required - 50€ participation - 40€ for members of the Paris Beer Club
- 14 rue Caillaux75013 Paris
